When I arrived at Elena’s hotel room it was hard to squeeze in the door because the room was just jam-packed with all of Elena’s closest friends and family. But for what the room lacked in spaciousness, the girls more than made up for in their joy and excitement. When I saw Gary a little bit later (in a much less crowded room of boys) ;) he kept taking deep breaths… Gary wasn’t really nervous but more anxious to see Elena and finally call her his wife! I was so thankful to have my friend Alyce with me to second shoot for this wedding- it was the perfect fall day and we didn’t want to miss anything!
Gary gave Elena a wedding-day charm for her Pandora bracelet. (And on another note, why didn’t they have these cute hangers when I got married?) :)
I just can’t get over these black and white portraits of Elena. Makes me wish I had a little Cuban in me! ;)
Elena spotted Gary walking in the parking lot… :)
Elena had a uniquely beautiful brooch bouquet.
Alyce grabbed this shot of the pastor praying over Gary and the groomsmen just before the ceremony started.
Elena and Gary got married at All Hallow’s Church in Davidsonville. This church was built in the 1600s and is also the place where Elena’s parents were married.
Perfect fall day.
We went back into the old chapel for some portraits.
Their first dance was one of the sweetest I’ve seen- Elena just couldn’t stop crying (happy tears). :)
Congratulations Elena + Gary! Your wedding was beautiful and I am so honored to have been a part of it!
