Elizabeth (Bits) and John’s wedding had all the classic elements of a perfect Annapolitan wedding. The two are from different coasts but met at the Naval Academy. Their wedding was a blend of rustic charm and nautical elegance. Navy and white striped ribbon, Jack Rogers, monograms, full blooms, coral accents, hand lettering and a perfectly styled outdoor reception venue. But what stood out most about Bits & John’s wedding was the palpable love they shared, first and foremost for one another, as well as among every guest present. I never once asked Bits to give me a “full smile”– being with John and those she loves most surrounding and supporting their wedding celebration, was enough to keep a full smile on her face all day. The day started with a fun and vibrant group of women helping Bits prepare for the day. Bits and John’s wedding party came from multiple locations all over the country (including Hawaii!) to celebrate this marriage. When Bits and John saw each other for their First Look at the docks in downtown Annapolis, there were tears of joy and full smiles once more. The wedding ceremony was beautiful as John and Bits pledged to love one another with a love that comes only from their deep faith in Christ. Hidden View Farm, a beautiful estate just outside of Annapolis served as the perfect backdrop for their reception. Thanks to 2Hands Studios, an open field turned into the perfect location to celebrate the union of two of the kindest and most fun people. It was, without a doubt, a perfect day.
Bits and John, it was such an honor to be able to capture your wedding day. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a beautiful picture of the Gospel and a fantastic party! Much love to you both!
