When Bill made a toast thanking all of their closest friends and family for being a part of their wedding day, he mentioned that it took him 50 years to find the perfect woman. It is clear that Ingrid is the perfect one for Bill. They are a beautiful compliment to one another, and their wedding day was full of such joy and celebration. The certain way that Bill looked at Ingrid, the way Ingrid smiled from ear to ear every time she looked at Bill. Perfect.
I always feel that photographing a wedding is a privilege- and Ingrid and Bill’s wedding was no exception. I was thanked and offered kind words multiple times by Ingrid and Bill’s guests. It almost felt odd- there’s no need for the guests to even greet me let alone thank me- but it did truly make the day that much more special. It was a reminder of the weight and importance of being the one to capture the memories that are made on wedding day. So, when Bill wants to reflect on the day that he finally made the perfect woman his bride, he will have these photos to reflect on.
Bill serves proudly in the Army, so their wedding took place at Ft. Belvoir in Virginia.
Just the sweetest pair…
The Officer’s Club on base was the perfect setting for their afternoon reception.
When “Motown Philly” by Boyz II Men was among the music selection, I knew it would be a fun group. And when the Photo Booth props were brought onto the dance floor, I was sure they were all crazy. ;)
Ingrid and Bill, thank you again so much, for the wonderful privilege of photographing your wedding day.
