Janelle & Alex are such laid-back, easy-going people. But like most brides, Janelle had a vision and a plan for their wedding day. The Silver Swan Bayside is a beautiful venue which boasts perfect views of the Chesapeake Bay. And in early November, an outdoor ceremony can be slightly chilly but lovely, especially with such a gorgeous backdrop. This November 1st, Janelle & Alex’s wedding day, was our coldest day of fall yet. The winds were epically blustery and the rain came off and on all morning. As we drove over the bay bridge (under a wind advisory, no less) I was praying that we would be able to get some outdoor photos to showcase this beautiful location. I knew no matter what it would be a perfect day, and it was. The Silver Swan did a fantastic job moving the ceremony inside and all of Janelle and Alex’s details showed off perfectly in the reception. What none of us expected, was the ridiculously beautiful sunset we had. Immediately after the ceremony we went outside and braved the cold for some photos before the sun set. And almost as soon as we went outside, the sun broke through the clouds amazingly. It looked like a summer evening on the beach, aside from the frigid temperature! Janelle was an absolutely stunning bride, their friends and family were there to celebrate, the details were perfect, and in the end the weather even cooperated to give us a perfect day.
Congratulations again Janelle and Alex. Thank you again for allowing us to celebrate with you and capture your wedding day. All the best and so much love to you both!Janelle shared a sweet first look with her Dad!
