You’ve seen it on Pinterest in a curly font, you’ve heard it quoted, or seen it printed on a distressed wooden plaque… and it’s true… “Love Makes a Family”. Robin and Dan just brought their sweet 2 year old boy home from South Korea last month and they are a beautiful picture proving that love really does make a family. Robin emailed me a few months ago, just before they were preparing their trip to South Korea and I was so, so excited they wanted to do a Red Thread Session with me in December. I couldn’t be more honored to be a volunteer for Red Thread Sessions and I love having the opportunity to meet adoptive families. I think these first few month are such a whirlwind for any new parents (whether it’s new for the first, second or fifth time) and I love being able to specifically support adoption in this small way for families. So tell anyone you know, who is adopting, to check out Red Thread Sessions! :) I only spent about an hour with this sweet family downtown Annapolis, but it was clear that Robin and Dan are wonderful parents who love their little boy to pieces. And I almost died, a few times, from the cuteness. :) I am sure you will love this little guy, too!
Robin and Dan, thank you so much for inviting me to capture this exciting time in your family’s life. I am so honored to have been with you in these first weeks with your sweet boy!
