Self-Portrait | February :: & a day at the farm

So, it’s been a while. A long while, admittedly. The good news (and somewhat intimidating news) is that things will only pick up from here! I have a few family sessions, engagement sessions, and weddings to look forward to in 2012! I am very excited. That being said, I am always busy with my camp job- especially while we prepare for this upcoming summer! There is always lots going on to plan for summer camp so that certainly keeps me busy. And so, it has been about a month since I have really picked up my camera and honestly it was probably a break I needed. But I did promise to subject you to a year of self-portraits and I intend to deliver! We took a walk on the Peddicord family farm this weekend, (where I made Ben take February’s self-portrait for me) and I ended up snapping pictures left and right of farm things. I have spent a good amount of time on this farm over the last ten years (that’s right… Ben and I have been going on dates for almost 10 years. Ridiculous. And wonderful), so it’s not like it was new to me- but I just couldn’t help myself from taking pictures. I. missed. my. camera. Oh dear camera of mine, I am so sorry I neglected you for so long! Reunited, and it feels, so good. And so, with that… I bring you pictures of rusty old farm equipment and various and sundry other farm things. Not really my typical post… but it was fun and I thought I’d share. :)

and of course, here’s February’s self-portrait (whose idea was this… anyway?…)

Well, now that we have that out of the way… don’t worry, next time I will blog a wedding. :)

    Um, so, your hair is super cute. You should always have your husband take your self portraits because this looks like you and not like you’re uncomfortable. I didn’t know Ben’s family have a family farm. I really want a family farm.ReplyCancel
