So much in store…

It’s officially fall and I am feeling super busy these days! This season, I am thankful for all the weddings, family sessions, and engagement sessions that I am working on, or that are coming soon! I have been working on getting into my workflow now that I have been doing photography full-time for about a month. It has been an adjustment but I am loving what I am doing!

I have a lot of work to get done this week because I am heading out next Monday to spend two weeks in Georgia! I love Georgia and always have. I have family and friends who live there so I have been visiting the peach state since I was a little girl. I will spend one glorious week visiting my dear family and friends… and I will spend one week at a photography conference just outside of Atlanta. My sweet supportive husband talked about getting me signed up for this conference right around last Christmas- so it’s been a long time comin’! I remember it being a cooooold time in January (after Christmas, the very best season, was over) and I was feeling a little discouraged and overwhelmed about launching my photography business and finishing well at my camp job in the months to come. A photography conference and trip to Georgia seemed like just the right medicine, and I am so thankful to be able to do this. I am really looking forward to a few days of rest, fellowship with other women photographers, and I am so ready to learn from all the different speakers and sessions. The conference is being put on by an organization called Pursuit 31, click on the link to check them out! Before next monday, however, I’ve got one family session, one wedding and two engagement sessions. My mantra this fall? I think I can! I’ve never been busier with this little business and I have never been more thankful.

So yes, lots on the horizon and lots to get done in the meantime! So for today, here is a sneak peek at a few things that are in store over the next week or two…
