Lately, we have had some epic thunderstorms roll through our area. From flash flood warnings to tornado warnings, June has been a crazy month for weather! Tiffany and John got married on a day that’s weather ranged from beautiful and breezy, hot and humid, to the most rain we’ve seen in a long time. I mean… a lot of rain. And somehow, by the grace of God, their planned outdoor ceremony at Celebrations at the Bay, and their portraits all took place outdoors with a clear (albeit cloudy) sky above! We had to move a few things around and utilize our “wiggle room” but with a completely wonderful couple, bridal party, guests, and venue, everything went off without a hitch and Tiffany was just beaming with joy all day- even through the torrential downpour, thunder, and lightening that happened throughout the reception! Tiffany and John’s kids were a special part of their wedding day, and between Tiffany’s walk down the aisle with her dad by her side, to the first dance, there were many times that there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!
Tiffany and John’s wedding day also marked my last wedding before officially taking “maternity leave”. It’s crazy to think it’s almost July and baby Peddicord will be making his or her arrival soon! The amazingly talented and lovely Brittany came to shoot this wedding with Alyce and me, and I truly could not have done it without her! I am so thankful for their help and support as I shot my last wedding of the spring at 36 weeks pregnant! :)
Tiffany and John, congratulations to you both and we wish you all the best! So much love to you and your families as you journey this next chapter in life together!
